Updated Conference Link Macro
Gary Kelsey announced that there was a change in one of the conference names on Ural America's discussion board. I've updated the macro that displays the conference names on the IUDA to reflect the conference name change.

Technical Bulletins Page Updated
The Technical Bulletins page has been brought up to date.

"New" Days Begin to Flow into Volume 2

Whew! It's been a long wait but new days have started to flow into Volume 2 of the Archive. Only messages that are 45 days older than the current date show up in Volume 2. In reality, messages more recent than 45 days are in Volume 2, its just that the messages aren't visible through the calendar interface of the discussion group. If you do a search or navigate within messages, you have full access to the contents of Volume 2.

Search Index Change
The way the Search Index page behaves has changed. Previously, one would click on a character and get back a huge listing of words in the search engine that started with the selected character. This process was slow, intensive, and unsustainable. The new process takes you through a divide and conquer type of technique. It's a few more clicks for you but it's also faster overall.

Webboard Style TOP Link Navigation Behavior Change

The behavior of the TOP link in the Webboard style navigation area has been changed. Prior to the change, clicking on the TOP link would show the entire topic, causing a mode change to topic mode. Now clicking on the TOP link takes you to the first message of a message thread, much like it used to way back when.

Several Bugs Fixed

Several usability bugs were fixed in the IMZ-Ural Discussion Archive. Specifically users were seeing the following error messages: 1) [Macro error: Can't find a sub-table named "Frontier:Guest Databases:ops:uralDiscussionArchiveIndex.root".] This would happen when a user did a search and tried to click on a search results link on the search results page. 2) [Macro error: Can't evaluate the expression because the name "adrMsgTable" hasn't been defined.] The Webboard style navigation at the top of a message was just plain broken and the error message would repeat several times.

Technical Bulletins Listing Added
A page has been added that lists the Technical Bulletins from the IMZ-Ural Discussion Archive. This page will most likely be removed when Ural America fully updates their discussion board and/or website to contain all current technical bulletins.
